Circuit working principle:
The multi-function charger circuit is composed of a voltage stabilizing circuit, a charging circuit, a discharging circuit, a battery selection/voltage detecting circuit and a timing control circuit.
The voltage stabilizing circuit is composed of a power transformer T, a rectifier bridge stack UR, a filter capacitor Cl, C2 and a three-terminal voltage regulator integrated circuit IC1. The charging circuit is composed of transistors V2, V4, a charging indicating light emitting diode VL2, and resistors Rl9, R2l, R22. The discharge circuit is composed of transistors V3, V5, a discharge indicating light emitting diode VL3, and resistors Rl8, R2O, R23. The battery selection/voltage detection circuit consists of a 1·2V/1·5V single cell voltage selection switch 51, a rechargeable battery cell number selection switch S2, resistors Rl-R9, R16, R17, a diode VD, a capacitor C4, and an operational amplifier integrated circuit. The N2 inside the lC2 (Nl, N2) and the fully charged indicating LED VLl are composed. The timing control circuit is composed of a square wave oscillator (composed of operational amplifier N2, resistor R10-R14, capacitor C3) and transistor V1, resistor R15, and decimal count/pulse distributor integrated circuit IC3.
