The new NBX family of six devices offers dual voltage capability and best-in-class total frequency stability (down to ±20 ppm), providing a cost-effective, high-precision reference clock solution. These new devices meet the clock generation requirements of the latest 2.5 V/3.3 V low-voltage positive emitter-coupled logic (LVPECL) designs in applications such as routers, switches, servers, and base stations.
These new devices support the frequency of applications such as Synchronous Optical Network (SONET), Gigabit Ethernet (GbE), and Local Area Network (LAN)/Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN). The NBX Series offers performance equal to or better than a quartz third harmonic crystal oscillator or surface acoustic wave (SAW) product, ultra-low phase noise of -160 dBc/Hz, and a root mean square (RMS) of typically 0.5 picoseconds (ps). Phase jitter and low bit error rate (BER) are particularly prominent.

The new frequencies supported by NBXMBB024 and NBXSBB024 are 622.08 megahertz (MHz), NBXHGA017 is 156.25 MHz, NBXHGA019 is 125.00 MHz, NBXSGA008 is 161.1328 MHz, and NBXHGA053 is 50.00 MHz.
