Aachen, Germany, March 8, 2012 – Ai Siqiang announced today that it has signed a new MOCVD system order with its existing customer, China Quanjing Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. The new contract is for the ordering of three MOCVD systems specifically designed to expand the production of high-brightness LED wafers based on gallium nitride (GaN).
The order was signed in the fourth quarter of 2011 and will be delivered in the first quarter of 2012. Ai Siqiang's local service support team will install and commission the new reactor in the advanced clean room of the company.
“We purchased two 42x2 inch G4 MOCVD systems from Ai Siqiang in 2011, and their performance is excellent.†Dr. Yuan Shu, general manager of Quanjing Optoelectronics, said, “So we decided in a new round of strategic plan. Add more Ai Siqiang equipment."
According to Gaogong LED reporter, Guangdong Quanjing Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. is located in the Jingu Jingu·Photoelectric Industry Community in Nanhai District, Foshan. The total investment of the project is 100 million yuan, and the annual production capacity of 288,000 pieces of 2 inch blue-green GaN epitaxial wafer production line is built, and a high-brightness epitaxial wafer verification line is provided.
