Cognex has now introduced the DataMan® 150, 260 and 360 series of fixed imaging ID readers. These new readers offer outstanding performance, flexibility and ease of use with the latest Cognex® algorithms for the highest read rates. New reader advantages:
· 1DMaxTM combined with Hotbars®2 technology for high-speed reading of damaged or poorly printed 1D barcodes;
· 2DMax® combines patent-pending PowerGridTM technology to reliably read tricky 2D code, including 2D code with no visible range that was previously unreadable;
· Field adjustable lighting and light path for changing plant environments and application requirements;
· Auto-tuning and trigger buttons to set up and use the reader without a PC.
The USB DataMan 150 Series and Ethernet 260 Series models can be mounted upright or at an appropriate angle to fit the narrowest space. This flexible design eliminates the need to redesign the device and eliminates the need for complex optical paths to connect to the grating mirror. Enhancements to the DataMan 360 Series include a halo that provides 360-degree visual read indication and a Micro SD card for system-level backup, easy device recovery or replacement. DataMan 360 offers three times the memory capacity of the older DataMan 300, improving image buffering and increasing image storage.
