It's useful, we just hope that those unwanted software that drags down the Windows PC won't be ported to Android devices.
I found the Folio 100 very good and the basic use was simple enough. Its performance is not particularly prominent, and the reaction of buttons will be slow for those who are accustomed to using mobile phones, but the application load is fast enough. The user interface is easy to use, but then again, I'm already familiar with Android usage, such as the way the virtual keyboard is called and cancelled.
The Folio 100 also has Toshiba Place service. Toshiba Place offers several advantages. First, users can log in to a single site and publish content elsewhere, including Facebook and DailyMotion. In addition, the service also has a Market Place that provides users to purchase music, videos, e-books, games, news, and other All Toshiba Places device executable content. Like the Samsung Galaxy Tab, Folio uses Android 2.2 (not to mention Froyo). The difference between this version and the mobile phone system is that there is a Home Button at the top left of the screen, and you can go to the full application menu. Many applications are familiar to Android users, just to a larger screen. This part may be a little weird. The small login window on the screen of the mobile phone occupies the entire screen at Folio. However, the difference is that the application market used by the Folio 100 is not the Android Market but the Market Place which is part of Toshiba Place.
Android Netbook: AC 100
Toshiba also released another Android netbook on the same day: AC 100. Toshiba calls this the ultimate internet companion.
The product is also equipped with 10.1-inch screen, 8GB SSD and physical keyboard, weighs about 870 grams, slightly higher than Folio. I found that the AC 100's interface reaction is not good enough, the web browsing is also a bit slow, I feel more like a big smart phone, and Non-netbook. Maybe the Wi-Fi at the show is also influential, but processing web pages still depends on the performance of the CPU.
In use, you must remember that this is an Android device, not an ordinary laptop. Taking the Back Button as an example, will let you return to the used application, while holding down the Home Button will call out a list of recently used applications. Of course, the micro-keyboard is harder to use than a normal-sized keyboard, but it's still faster than typing on a mobile phone.
