International Rectifier Company (InternaTIonal RecTIfier, referred to as IR) recently launched the AUIRS4426S dual-channel low-side driver IC for automotive applications, including hybrid system drive, direct fuel injection system, DC / DC converter, etc.
The AUIRS4426S for automotive is available in an 8-pin SOIC package. It is a rugged low-voltage high-speed power MOSFET and IGBT driver that can match the propagation delay of the two channels, simplifying the design.
Pan Dawei, vice president of sales for IR Asia, said: "Due to the rugged monolithic structure, the AUIRS4426S is particularly suitable for hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) applications that require a rugged and flexible solution.
The gate drive voltage of AUIRS4426S is 6V to 20V, with CMOS Schmitt trigger input, the output is out of phase with the input, and the input logic level is relatively low.
The new device complies with the AEC-Q100 standard and is developed under the automotive quality concept that IR requires zero defects. The environmentally friendly materials used are both lead-free and compliant with the Hazardous Substances Control Directive (RoHS).
