The LED has the characteristics of energy saving and energy saving, which makes the development of LED in lighting application quite fast. At present, the visibility of LED lighting in public facilities such as street lamps, street lamps and wall washers is improved. The governments of Europe, the United States and Japan have also expanded the use of LED light sources. Efficiency comparison
At present, general indoor lighting is mainly dominated by incandescent bulbs and power-saving bulbs, and LED bulbs are still a minority. Based on the LED bulbs currently available on the market, compared with incandescent bulbs, power-saving bulbs and LED bulbs with similar brightness, LED bulbs have the best luminous efficiency, and the luminous efficiency per watt can reach 70 to 80 lumens, followed by The energy-saving bulbs can reach 57 lumens per watt. As for the incandescent bulbs with the worst luminous efficiency, the luminous efficiency is only 12 lumens per watt. In terms of life, incandescent bulbs have a life of about 1,200 hours, energy-saving bulbs can reach 5,000 to 6,000 hours, LED bulbs can reach 10,000 hours, and life expectancy is twice that of power-saving bulbs. In terms of power saving issues alone, LED bulbs are indeed more energy efficient than incandescent bulbs and energy saving bulbs.

Difference in use cost
If you consider the use of electricity, 10,000 hours is the basis of the measurement. Generally, the 11W power-saving bulb consumes 110 kWh (1 kW × 1 hour = 1 degree), while the 5W LED bulb consumes 50 kWh. The peak electricity consumption is about 2.31 yuan per kilowatt hour. The electricity cost of the 11W energy-saving bulb is 254 yuan, and the electricity cost of the 5W LED bulb is 10,000 yuan. The electricity cost of LED bulbs is only 46% of the energy-saving bulbs. It is also used to help reduce carbon dioxide emissions. It is an advantage in terms of environmental protection and economic concepts.
The cost of the bulb is included in the calculation. At present, the average unit price of the 11W energy-saving bulb sold in the market is NT$160, and 10,000 hours will consume more than one energy-saving bulb (the service life is only 5,000 to 6,000 hours). The average cost of purchasing a bulb for every 10,000 hours is about 286 yuan, while the price of an LED bulb is about 880 yuan under the same conditions. The LED bulb is 3.07 times more expensive than the energy-saving bulb.
The electricity cost plus the cost of the lamp, the average cost per 10,000 hours of energy-saving bulbs is about 540 yuan, and the total cost of using LED bulbs is 996 yuan, so the total cost of using LED bulbs is still 1.84 times that of power-saving bulbs.

in conclusion
Although LEDs are superior to power-saving bulbs and incandescent bulbs in terms of power consumption and lifetime, since LED bulbs are still more than three times more expensive per unit time than energy-saving bulbs, the total cost of LED bulbs is 1.84 times that of energy-saving bulbs. It is still too early to say that the light bulb still wants to replace the power-saving light bulb. However, as the luminous efficiency of LEDs increases, or the cost of power generation increases as the price of oil increases, the advantages of power-saving LED bulbs will gradually become apparent.
