SpaceX engineers were sever because of the truth

【Global Science and Technology Report】 According to the British "Daily Mail" reported on May 24th, SpaceX's former employee Blasdell was asked to tamper with the test program, agreeing to test not in accordance with the agreement. When he told CEO Elon Musk about this matter, he was actually fired by the company. SpaceX’s $5 billion worth of contracts included 50 upcoming launches, including a project to transport NASA astronauts. Currently, Blasdell filed a lawsuit against SpaceX.

SpaceX is a company founded by billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk in 2002 in Hawthorne, California. It transports goods into space for NASA and individual customers and has a contract to refit the Dragon spacecraft capsule to transport human crew. With such vital missions online, Blasdell said he was shocked that the procedures he was required to follow were so loose.

The complaint stated that "SpaceX did not mark and serialize parts, which made it impossible for him to detect the fault history of the parts and could lead to the installation of false and defective parts on the rocket. He was asked to tamper with the test program. He seems to have followed some specific testing requirements, but in fact it has not.... These practices ... are very dangerous and may result in a damaged, faulty part being installed on the SpaceX rocket, possibly leading to rockets Explosion in the orbit, human life will face a disaster-like loss."

SpaceX denied the allegation and stated that Blasdell was fired because of his "split" behavior. By the time he was fired on April 1, 2010, Blasdell had been working on the avionics components of the SpaceX test Falcon 9 launch vehicle and Dragon spacecraft for about 3 years.

SpaceX's lawyers disagree with the statement and vigorously defend the unfair dismissal. "Jason Blasdell is not a whistleblower and this is not a case of disclosure," said Lynx Hermle, a lawyer for SpaceX, in the court of Tuesday. SpaceX’s spokesperson told the Daily Mail, “There is no legal basis for the complaint in this case. SpaceX actively encourages employees to raise their concerns at any time.”

The civil trial is expected to last for several weeks. (Internship Compilation: Zhou Yi reviewer: Li Zongze)
