After opening the box, it officially enters the product experience phase. The experience is mainly from the installation of the matching App, the networking of the camera, the App experience, the installation of the camera, and the scene simulation experience.
The App is installed on my iPhone 6s (System iOS 9.3.3), and all App experiences are based on the iOS system.
1. App installation

After entering the main interface of the app, to add a new room, just click on the "small house" in the upper left corner, select "Add room", and name the room. I was tested here on the second floor, so I named it "second floor living room."
After the room is added, you can add a camera. Click the "+" in the upper right corner of the main interface. The App prompts you to scan the code and pop up the camera interface. At this time, just scan the QR code at the bottom of the camera mentioned above. After the device was named (within 4 words), here I named Peng Peng and then assigned a room. I chose here to add the "second floor living room" before adding the camera successfully.
2. Equipment networking
Although the camera has been added in the App, but there is no network and match can not manage it, the next thing to do is to turn on the camera power, connect to the wireless network, and then match with the phone App.
First connect the data cable to the “POWER†port on the back of the camera, and connect the other side to a 5V 1~2A charger (the 5V 2A phone charger I use).

Then the third step is to select the WI-FI to which the camera is to be connected (it is recommended to select the wireless network under coverage with the strongest signal and the most stable network) and enter the WI-FI password. I connected to a JCG wireless router on the second floor and the signal was full
The fourth step is a little complicated, because the camera needs to be a WI-FI hotspot, so that the phone is connected to the camera's network first, and then the configuration information on the App is sent to the camera, and then the camera is disconnected from the mobile phone and connected to the previous design. 3. App initial experience
After the camera is matched and connected, the added camera "Peng Peng" can be seen on the home page of the app. The lower left corner shows the camera's name and status (offline, connected, online, and three states). The lower right corner provides more operations and functions. This will be explained later. Add the camera for the first time, there is a red word to remind users to modify the device password as soon as possible
After clicking the red word, jump to a password modification page. Because it is not clear what is the use of this password (has been determined not to be the user login password), but for security, it is modified into a string of numbers + letters
Previously added cameras on the homepage also showed "a new version of the firmware", so point it in and jump to the firmware upgrade screen. From this interface, you can see that the factory firmware version of this camera is 1.0.8.6, while the latest version is 2.2.1144. The latest firmware should have a more complete and stable experience, so click "download upgrade file" below and start "device upgrade"

After the page automatically jumps to the front page, the camera is automatically restarted. Then Problem 1 comes: The indicator light on the camera is long, but the App displays offline and cannot be connected. The indicator light is on, indicating that the device is working properly, but the App could not detect it, so trying to restart the camera after a power failure, and then successfully connected
After the connection is successful, "Online" is displayed in the lower left corner, and then question 2 comes again: "The firmware has a new version" is displayed again below (it has been upgraded to the latest).
After clicking, jump to the "firmware upgrade" page, which shows that the current version has changed to 1.1.4.4 and the latest version has been 2.2.1144. I don't know if it is an update package version naming error, which leads to prompting for an upgrade again
Even if you click “Download Upgrade File†and follow the instructions to upgrade step by step, you will eventually be prompted to “The network does not work†and the upgrade fails.
After the failure, the camera has changed to the state before it was upgraded. It cannot be connected. After the click, it is also prompted to be offline. It can only be connected after power off and on again.
After the normal connection, you can finally open the camera management interface. The top is the real-time monitoring screen . 4. Equipment installation
Because the base of the "Peng Dr. Smart Camera" is a magnetic suction design, installation is very convenient. As long as it is an iron surface, it is automatically absorbed by directly placing it on the surface, and the suction force is high and it is not easy to fall.

5. Scene simulation
