Permanent magnet motors are synchronous motors. The rotor uses permanent magnets, and the stator generates electromagnetic torque to push the magnetic field of the rotor to rotate around the axis, and the magnetic fields of the stator and the rotor are synchronized. The induction motor is an asynchronous motor, which is an AC motor in which the rotating magnetic field formed by the stator winding interacts with the magnetic field of the induced current in the rotor winding to generate electromagnetic torque to drive the rotor to rotate. So what are the advantages of asynchronous motors compared to them?
Asynchronous motor advantage one:
Can tolerate large operating temperature changes. Conversely, large temperature changes can damage permanent magnet motors.

The output torque of the asynchronous motor can be adjusted in a wide range, so there is no need to install a second or even a third set of transmission mechanisms. The output torque can be forced to increase when accelerating or climbing (although the time is very short), while the permanent magnet motor electric vehicle needs to output more torque through the gearbox to achieve speed increase.
Asynchronous motor advantage three:
Small size and light weight. On the one hand, due to the large temperature tolerance range, the electric motor does not need to install radiators, cooling fans, water pumps and related pipelines like other electric vehicles. On the other hand, there is no need to install redundant transmission mechanisms. Therefore, its motor volume and weight are greatly reduced. The asynchronous motor is similar in size to a watermelon and weighs only 52 kilograms.
