The Ministry of Science and Technology recently awarded the license to Yangzhou National Semiconductor Lighting Industrialization Base, which indicates that after the five cities of Xiamen, Shanghai, Dalian, Nanchang and Shenzhen, Yangzhou has become the sixth national-level semiconductor lighting industrialization base in China.
The semiconductor lighting industry is one of the emerging industries that Yangzhou has focused on in recent years. It has initially formed an industrial cluster with certain influence at home and abroad. At present, the base has gathered nearly 30 companies including Huaxia Optoelectronics, Chuanqi Optoelectronics, Guoyu Electronics, and Edison Optoelectronics. At the same time, the highest level of research and development in the domestic semiconductor lighting field, such as the Institute of Semiconductors of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Nanjing University, and 55 of the CLP. The institution has settled in the base.
