Alvin Tse, vice president of Philips Lumileds Asia Pacific, also pointed out that LED lighting penetration rate will reach 80% in 2020. At present, the global lighting market is worth 85 billion US dollars, which means that LED lighting will take off, and the market scale will be several times that of LED backlighting.
Stephan Greiner, vice president of global business of Everlight, pointed out that the global LED lighting market will reach approximately 2.617 billion US dollars next year, and it is expected to double to 5.2 billion by 2012.
