Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and the Ministry of Transport jointly announced the list of “Semiconductor Indoor Lighting Product Application Demonstration Projectsâ€. A total of 20 projects were selected in the country. There are only 2 in our province. Zhongshan Zhonghuan Plaza Semiconductor Indoor Lighting Products Application demonstration projects are among them.
The project plans to adopt the contract energy management mode. By cooperating with professional semiconductor lighting product development units and energy-saving service companies, the three main office buildings in Central Plaza will be used as national semiconductor indoor lighting product application demonstration projects. The project uses semiconductor lighting fixtures to replace traditional luminaires. It is expected to save about 1.89 million kWh of electricity, and save about 420 tons/year of standard coal and 1030 tons of carbon dioxide per year. Due to the outstanding demonstration and display effect of the project, it is expected to have a positive pulling effect on the development of Zhongshan's semiconductor indoor lighting industry.
