However, due to technical, cost and other constraints, there is still a big difference between the price of LED lamps and traditional lamps. For example, the price of a combination of a mid-to-high-end car and an incandescent lamp is 120 yuan/set, while the LED combination lamp needs 210 yuan / set.
The industry said that reducing the price of LED lamps and improving their luminous efficiency will be the focus of future development of LED automotive lamps.
At present, foreign manufacturers have always occupied a monopoly position in the new car LED market, such as Osram, Philips and some Japanese manufacturers. China's LED chip manufacturer Xiamen Sanan Optoelectronics has established a joint venture with automobile manufacturer Chery in April 2010 to establish Wuhu Anrui Optoelectronics Co., Ltd., the main positioning is the automotive lighting market.
