At the Computex 2017 Intel conference, the wireless version of the VR helmet HTCVIVE was confirmed and is expected to be available in early 2018. The conference site demonstrated the prototype of this device. The new version uses Intel's 60GHz WiGig technology with a delay of less than 7ms.
