MK Player360 VR projection turns the entire room into VR

In the mini-TV series "Black Mirror" in the first season, the walls of the virtual bedroom can have different projections, and the occupants can interact with everything around them. Today, a Barcelona-based startup, Broomx, intends to turn this dream into a reality.

After several years of research and development, Broomx launched its first version in Spain, the MK Player360 VR projection system. After installation, the user can control the application through the mobile phone. MK Player360 VR allows users to cover the entire room with a projection. The company hopes that users can experience VR without having to show up. Ignasi Capella, chief communications officer at Broomx, said the company has a great deal of ambition to promote the product in Europe and the United States. Broomx said that the product has already gained profits from California and elsewhere.

At present, the company is beginning to face commercial customers. The company positions its equipment for industrial applications such as real estate and healthcare.

Capella said: "Our projector is characterized by being able to connect anything. We can synchronize these things with the projector and synchronize with the observed scene. So it's like underwater - we have an underwater experience, There you can see waves and lights reflecting in the room. When you enter the water, the bed will stop moving and there will be no waves under the water."

Broomx can connect with applications such as Google Maps and Google Street View, presenting the user with a virtual city tour. This may be a good application for real estate. For marketing and live events, Broomx can also project photos on Twitter and Instagram onto the wall and scroll continuously. If the user places the Broomx in another room, it can reposition the content through the smartphone.

Broomx's R&D team includes internal products, front-end and graphic designers, hardware and software engineers, video artists, 360-degree content creators, and more. Earlier this year the company also attended CES 2017.

Capella said: “This Barcelona company is very creative. We have created a unique home projection system that allows users to enjoy VR and 360° media without the need for VR headsets or other devices. It is MK player 360. Broomx can be used in any The room creates an immersive, four-dimensional experience that covers the corners of the view.”
