CT-Concept Technologie AG, a manufacturer of IGBT drivers from Power Integrations, has opened a new design center in Ense, Germany. The design center will develop a semi-custom gate drive design based on its driver core and use CONCEPT's SCALE-2® platform to develop and tailor drives for large projects.
The SCALE-2® chipset is highly integrated, reducing component count for high reliability. It includes many advanced features, including direct parallel and dynamic advanced active clamp (DA2C), which can reduce system cost by requiring smaller deratings when IGBT modules are used in parallel.
The new design center is equipped with a team of professional designers to meet the needs of high-power system developers for innovative technology or when development time is limited.
