The product is called iViTiOn and uses technology invented by Litonics LLC of Knighton, Wales. The company’s website said: “The only purpose of the automatic conversion of iViTiOn is to ensure that users will not be black when they are out of power.”

The product's use is similar to that of existing light bulbs before power failure and automatic switch to battery mode. This means that it can glow independently for up to 3 hours before power is restored. In addition, it can distinguish between blackouts and people who turn off the power switch, so people can turn off iViTiOn as needed.

The 600 mAh battery is automatically charged when it is charged, and the lamp is normally lit. Without the need to add wiring, the battery can be installed directly into an existing ordinary light bulb. At the same time, it is also very environmentally friendly, consuming only 8 watts of electricity, but its brightness is equivalent to a 60 watt bulb. The lumen value of the new LED lamp is 850, which is only 800.

So far, the market has not started selling such bulbs. Litonics LLC has indicated that it hopes to start selling these bulbs by the end of this year.
