Yancheng invests 25 billion to build coastal power grid

A few days ago, it was learned from the Yancheng Power Supply Department that the city, together with the State Grid Corporation of China and the provincial power company, decided to invest no less than 25 billion yuan in Yancheng coastal power grid construction during the “12th Five-Year Plan” period. Since then, Yancheng Power Grid will have a total of 500 kV substations, of which only one substation in Dafeng Port will have a substation capacity of 6 million kVA. In order to provide support for four 500-kilovolt substations, 16 220-kilovolt substations will be built and five will be built. The scale of the power grid will be doubled, and it will be the first power grid in northern Jiangsu. The Phase I and Phase II projects of the 220 kV Waihai Power Transmission and Transformation Project that are supplied by Dafeng Port District will be implemented in advance.
