Lenny Cable Introduces Low Fire Cables to Enhance Building Safety

Starting from July 1, 2017, Lenny Cable will provide a full range of cable products that will comply with EU Building Products Regulations 305/2011. All cables are permanently installed in the building's power and have CE certification and product performance statements. Based on construction and fire risks, Lenny can provide a variety of suitable fire performance cable products.

On July 1, the transition period for energy cables, control cables and communication cables for permanent installation of construction projects was completed. From then on, these cables must be manufactured and evaluated in accordance with the European standard hEN50575 and affixed with the CE certification label in accordance with EU Building Products Regulation 305/2011.

In addition, product performance claims must be based on the assessment and grading of recognized testing organizations. The elements of CE certification and product performance declarations are specifications for fire rating.
