At the meeting, the National Semiconductor Lighting Engineering R&D and Industry Alliance (CSA) and the Taiwan Optoelectronic Semiconductor Industry Association (TOSIA) signed a letter of intent for cooperation on the cross-strait semiconductor lighting industry information exchange platform; the Institute of Semiconductors and the Institute of Industrial Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Electronics and Optoelectronics The letter of intent for the reliability research of LED lighting under special climatic conditions; the working group of the cross-strait semiconductor lighting cooperation project will sign a letter of intent for cooperation in the pilot project of semiconductor lighting with the Taiwan LED Lighting Coordination Working Group. The signing of these cooperation letters of intent will lay a good foundation for further cooperation between the cross-strait semiconductor lighting industry.
On the morning of June 26, the cross-strait working group will also hold a semiconductor lighting industry symposium in Beijing to conduct in-depth discussions and research on the specific implementation plan of the cross-strait semiconductor lighting pilot demonstration project. Then through the implementation of pilot demonstration projects for cross-strait semiconductor lighting applications, the cross-strait industrial advantages will complement each other, mutual benefit, and jointly build world-class semiconductor lighting companies and brands, and enhance the international competitiveness of the Chinese semiconductor lighting industry.
Representatives from both sides of the strait will present their ideas on the pilot project of street lighting and subway lighting. The participants will also discuss the specific implementation plans of the two pilot demonstration projects in Guangzhou and Xiamen, and determine the specific Operation method.
